I saw this at the 2005 German Film Festival in Sydney there was only about 30 people in the cinema for its one screening. Amazing. It deserved at least to be 3/4 full.

Turkish/German culture-clash comedy set in a kebab take-away. Aspiring filmmaker Ibo works at the his uncle's store trying to handle his girlfiend & their impending child while also trying to satiate his creative needs. He ends up making a kick-arse commercial for his uncle's restaurant in preparation for his attempt at Germany's 1st ever kung-fu film. It's an amiable film that quietly chugs along with characters that are mostly endearing in their absurdity. I almost wish that the director did make a film similar in style to the kung-fu commercial in the film. Now that would be cool.
